Protections also extend to people associated with someone in a protected class, and to the right to operate a licensed family child care home in a residence.
Consistent, fair screening for every applicant
Every application we receive is evaluated using the same clear, objective criteria, no matter who is applying. Income, rental history, credit, and background are reviewed the same way every time, so every applicant can trust they are being judged on the same terms as everyone else.
We consider all lawful sources of income equally, including housing vouchers, rental subsidies, and other government assistance. A voucher is treated as income, not as a reason for denial.
Reasonable accommodations
If you need a reasonable accommodation or modification because of a disability, at any point during the application or tenancy process, just let us know. We will work with you to find a solution.

Do you accept housing vouchers or rental subsidies?
Yes. Source of income is a protected characteristic under California law, and Structure Properties considers all lawful sources of income, including housing vouchers and rental subsidies, on equal terms with wage income.
What screening criteria do you use?
We apply the same written criteria to every application: income, rental history, credit, and background. The criteria do not change based on any protected characteristic, and they are applied in the order applications are received.
How do I report housing discrimination?
